All 3 Churnas ( BIO) have a holistic balancing effect, but each harmonizes a particular dosha. Use Churnas while cooking or just sprinkle them on the finished food. With the finished Churnas you can also refine wonderful salads or salty yogurt drinks or conjure refined snacks of simple sandwiches. Since there are no strict guidelines, which Churna you should use when and at what court, just make some experiments with it and discover the diversity of possible application. These three Churnas should definitely never be missing in the kitchen.

Vata Churna
Spicy and curry-like. With cumin, fenugreek, turmeric (turmeric), asafoetida and ginger. Vata-balancing. Especially suitable for all foods that increase Vata, such as cabbage, broccoli, corn, legumes and salads.
Pitta Churna
Mild and exotic, fine. With coriander, fennel, cumin, cardamom, ginger and turmeric. Good in the summer, if there is too much inner Pitta (heat), to tomato dishes and depending on your taste.
Kapha Churna
Sharp-spicy and slightly fiery. With ginger, coriander, black pepper and turmeric. Kapha balancing. Recommended for heavy food and if you have a craving to have a little bit sharper flavored dishes. |
