PLANT DESCRIPTION
Gorse is domestic plant to Europe and prefers to grow in stony soil, dry pastures and moors. It shuns soil containing calcium. The thorny bush can reach a height of 2 meters and withstands snow and cold. It is important not to confuse the bush used for Bach flowers with two other very similar species. The fragrant, golden yellow flowers bloom between February and June.

MOOD GROUP: Uncertainty
NEGATIVE CONDITION
Extreme hopelessness and despair; one no longer believes in any hope. When ill no longer tries to get better; new therapies are only tried to please other people.

-
Pessimistic view of life.
-
"What's the use?“
-
Helpful for serious or chronic illnesses.
-
Or if one is convinced that one's own sufferings or illness are inherited or part of an inevitable destiny.
POSITIVE POTENTIAL
Gorse awakens hope once again as well as the belief in recovery. One changes one's basic attitude and slowly becomes more life-affirming and optimistic. One gains the power to overcome difficulties and the courage to face conflict. One develops another way of looking at one's life situation and is even able to see the positive in apparently bad circumstances. Gorse brings sunshine into one's life.
BACH QUOTE
"Deep hopelessness; these people have lost faith that someone can still help them. In order to please other people, they may still try different treatments, but they assure their fellows that hope for relief is small indeed.“ "They look as though they need sunshine in their lives in order to drive away the bleak, gloomy clouds.“
