Aqua petra / Spring water
DESCRIPTION
This is the only Bach flower element that is not taken from plants, but rather from springs that are known for their healing power. The water used comes from pure, untouched rock springs and is loaded with energy from the sun.
MOOD GROUP: Over-sensitivity
NEGATIVE CONDITION
Inflexible people who expect a lot of themselves and have iron-willed discipline. Diets, work schedules etc. are followed most strictly. However despite this they are not satisfied with themselves.
-
Rock Water-personalities have for the most part exaggeratedly rigid and strong opinions about religion, nutrition, health, politics, the environment, philosophy or certain life styles.
-
They try to live according to their ideals, and for this reason they are very hard and strict with themselves.
-
Their life is run with much self-discipline and self-control, and they allow themselves few pleasures. It is difficult for them to adjust to life changes.
-
Through self-control, they want to be a good example and to strengthen their human qualities.
-
Distrust of their own feelings and bodily needs.
POSITIVE POTENTIAL
This is shown in having high ideals and also being flexible. Rock Water helps to free oneself from dogmatism, rigidity and hardness. One develops looseness, openness, inner freedom and mental mobility. One reflects one's ideals and guiding principles and becomes receptive to new interpretations. One learns to accept one's feelings.
BACH QUOTE
"For those who are very strict in their attitude towards life. They deny themselves much of the joy and pleasures of life because they feel that these just stand in the way. They are very hard with themselves. They want to be healthy, strong and active and do everything to stay this way. They hope to be an example to others, who will then follow their example and become better human beings.“
