Rock Rose

Deep-seated, severe anxiety, mostly acute and usually of short duration. For example, during a sudden illness, natural catastrophe or an accident (victim or witness). Feeling of helplessness and horror, one feels "as if paralysed." Also after nightmares.

Rock Water

Inflexible people who expect a lot of themselves and have iron-willed discipline. Diets, work schedules etc. are followed most strictly. However despite this they are not satisfied with themselves.

Scleranthus

Has problems making decisions, especially when it's a matter of choosing between two things. Extreme mood swings.

Star of Bethlehem

For aftereffects of a shock (spiritual and/or physical), for example after an accident, news or other traumas. May even be used for years afterwards. Especially good for mother and baby immediately after birth.

Extreme inner spiritual anguish; one believes one has "reached the limits of what one can endure." The feeling of being on the verge of a nervous breakdown can dominate; however, there are no suicidal thoughts.

Vervain

Strong-willed people with firm principles and opinions which, according to their own convictions, are absolutely correct. Easily antagonised in discussions about basic principles. Pronounced sense of justice.

Walnut

The Bach flower for times of great changes, for example pregnancy, divorce, menopause, aging, but also for a move or childhood illness and puberty, etc. Especially useful for therapists and people in counselling professions.

Water Violet

These people are considered wise, calm and intelligent, but they suffer from a feeling of superiority that forces them into internal retreat. They do not seek out help from other people and can thus appear proud and reserved.

White Chestnut

Compulsive, unsettling thoughts. Has a hard time turning off, a tendency to talking to himself/herself and seems at times unfocused. Falling asleep is difficult because the same (undesired) thoughts keep going in a circle.

Wild Oat

Too many choices (also talents) lead to confusion. Uncertainty about one's true calling in life. Unclear about what one wants to or should do. Indicated when almost all other Bach flowers seem to fit.
