BARLEY GRASS
Barley grass is full of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and trace elements. It is rich in potassium, beta-carotene, vitamin B 2 and B3.
Potassium is needed for the acid-base balance, for muscle functions, including the heart muscle, and the water balance in the human body.
The enzyme superoxide dismutase in combination with a multitude of other vitamins and enzymes protects the cells from free radicals. Flavonoids, that work together with vitamins help protect the brain cells and thus help keep peoples’ memories working.
Barley grass already played an important role in the lives of the ancient Sumerians. Today we know that barley grass has far more nutrients than either green vegetables or salads.
CULTIVATION
This barley grass is carefully grown in Australia without the use of any pesticides. The conscientious producer carefully controls the soil and the plants, even the air, in order to prevent any environmental damage to the plants.
30 minutes after it has been harvested, the grass is dried at body temperature to conserve the valuable nutrients.
The dry plants are carefully ground to produce a light green, appetizing powder that smells of nature.
INTAKE
1 to 3 times a day, take 1 teaspoon (1.5 g) dissolved in still water, whey, apple juice, vegetable juice or warm soup. It is important to use the barley grass regularly.
