FUNCTIONING
The laser light produced by the BI-O-LAS® Softlaser, with a wavelength of 635 nm (a nanometre = a millionth of a millimetre) corresponds to the light emitted by our endogenous resistance. It causes bio stimulation on the ray-treated parts of the skin. This specific bio stimulation activates your endogenous defence cells, macrophages and phagozytes. At the same time endorphines, the endogenous pain killers, are stimulated to soothe pain. When using the BI-O-LAS® Softlaser you also support your therapy and the cure is accelerated.
POINT LOCATOR SCALE
You can precisely determine the specifi c acupuncture point required for treatment. Proceed with the gold-plated laser tip over the area of the skin where the acupuncture point is located. The gold-plated contact plates must always be in contact with the thumb or index finger. The part of the skin where the point locator scale shows the highest amplitude is the acupuncture point.

SPECIFICATIONS
Biolas corresponds to laser protection class 2M and has a visible laser beam and a variable laser beam cone. You do not need to wear safety glasses or other protection. The eye’s closing reflex provides it with sufficient protection. Damage can only occur if you intentionally look into the beam for a long time. This should always be avoided.
The BI-O-LAS® Softlaser meets all terms of EN 60 601-1-2 von 2001 (Electromagnetic Compatibility), EN 60 601-1 of 1996 (Safety of Electrical Medical Devices) and EN 60 825-1 of 1994 (Safety of Laser Equipment).
'Eye safe' laser - no need to wear eye protective goggles during use
The Soft Laser Therapy is one these additional unconventional curing methods of alternative medicines. Information appearing in this document and stating that a direct or induced effect does exist are not at the present time sufficiently supported by scientific researches and medical studies.
Patients with pacemakers: no laser beam around the ribcage or pacemaker
Pregnancy: No laser beam in the stomach area/lower thorax/certain acupuncture points

No laser treatment of people with epiphysis
(growth areas of bones) and hollow bones in children
No laser treatment of the thyroids, ovaries and testicles

Laser light is damaging to the eyes. Never look into the beam, even with optical instruments, because optical instruments can bring the divergent rays back together again. Additional protection is not required. |
