LIGHT IS LIFE

All life on earth is dependent on the sun and one can say, in the truest sense, that light is life. Who does not feel joy when exposed to the warm rays of sunshine after a long, cold winter or when seeing a beautiful rainbow after a heavy storm? Sunlight appears to be the actual life energy for all biological beings on earth. Light and colour accompany us on a daily basis, opening our windows to the real world and moving us at the same time to the depth of our being.
The sun is the central star in the daily sky and the source of all life on earth. We strive to be like the sun, so that we can also shine.
SUN REMEDY LIGHT PRODUCTS
The complex sun-extraction technique carried out by hand makes MIRON Sun Remedies particularly valuable and illuminating for the body, mind and soul. The stored light and vitality of the sun boosts cell cultivation, and their essence and characteristics can penetrate into the depths of the layers of skin.
The olive tree and its sacred fruit has always been a symbol of knowledge, peace and strength. Therefore, organic, cold-pressed olive oil plays a fundamental role for the basis of high-quality light products.
PRODUCTION IN CYPRUS
After years of ‘nomadism’ in various parts of the Mediterranean, the company decided to set up a permanent production facility for the manufacture of its sun remedies in the Greek part of Cyprus Arodes, a small village in the protected area of ‘Akamas’, was particularly suitable as a base of operations for the company.
Akamas, a romantic, hilly, coastal landscape in the west of the island, fulfils important conditions for production: regular sun; emission-free surroundings in an intact, natural landscape; sufficient water resources and countless plants growing in the wild. Life and work in this untouched landscape is simple and contemplative. This nurtures our basic principle to produce ethereal products, like sun remedies, in a meditative, peaceful setting.
PEOPLE INSTEAD OF MACHINES
All of our Sun Remedies are made exclusively by hand. In this way we are following an ancient principle of Paracelsus, according to which the producer of the remedy is just as responsible for the recovery of a creature as the active ingredient of the substance contained in it. All the basic elements used in production are either harvested from organic farming or from the wild, and are then exposed to natural sunlight for up to several weeks.
We use systems that we have developed ourselves for bottling and filtration, and afterwards all our Sun Remedies are bottled and packaged by hand in MIRON violet-glass.
PACKAGING
For ecological reasons, and in order to support the protective and revitalising effect of the violet-glass, our products deliberately do not have outer packaging. We therefore recommend that the high-quality MIRON violet-glass is recycled. It is too valuable to be disposed of in the waste-glass container.
