CINNAMON
The cinnamon trees belong to the family of laurel plants. The cinammon smells comes from the cinnamon oil. 75% of this oil consists of cinnamon aldehyde.
Cinnamon is one of the oldest spices in the world. It has been used in China for thousands of years. To make cinnamon, the thin inner layer of the bark of the cinnamon tree (cinnamomum zeylanicum) is used, since this contains the most cinnamon spice.
Recently cinnamon has been proven to be of extraordinary value. The Research Center for Agriculture and Nutrition in Beltsville (USA) has shown that even small amounts of cinnamon are extremely helpful in improving peoples’ blood sugar levels.
Since recent studies have also shown that non organic cinnamon is potentially harmful; it is especially important to emphasize here that the cinnamon used for this tablets is of purely organic origin.
