THE BACKGROUND TO HEALTHY LIGHT
Artificial light - above all at the workplace - rules our modern lives. The unpleasant accompanying phenomena are known to us and confirmed through many studies: quickly flagging concentration, feeling unwell, unexplainable tiredness, amplified feelings of stress, headache or even depression. But even though we are conscious about what we eat today, and though a lot has been done about the quality of air and water, we stand helpless in the face of "poor light."
A comparison of the spectrum of conventional artificial light with the sun shows us the following: in addition to strong deviations from natural light in all the visible colours, artificial light lacks the colours unseen to the human eye, ultraviolet and infrared, that in the right dosage are essential for the health value of light.
The full-spectrum light of these tubes is similar to that of the sunlight (today measurable). For this reason it can display the same positive properties. The proper dosage of UV light improves concentration, prevents tiredness and creates a pleasant atmosphere in the room; the tubes can even be used for light therapy.
OPTIONS
Viva-Lite Full-Spectrum tubes are available in T8 in the following options: 15, 18, 30, 36 and 58 watts.
T5 options are available in 14, 21, 28 and 35 watts. T5 HO High Output options are available in 24, 39, 49, 54 and 80 watts.
