ADVANTAGES
Red grapes and their derivatives, such as grapeseed flour, contain the highest concentration of OPC which can be found in nature.
OPC is an exceedingly strong antioxidant that plays a major role in metabolising cholesterol. Its effects are fifty times stronger than those of Vitamin E and 18 times stronger than Vitamin C.
It is also ideal when taken together with other vitamins because it greatly improves the body’s ability to absorb vitamins A, C and E.
HOW TO USE
Replace 7% of the flour that you usually use with grapeseed flour and enjoy the mild nutty flavour.
This organic grapeseed flour can be used in bread, rolls, pizza , cakes, soups, desserts or can be added to yogurt, cereals, cottage cheese, etc.

OPC
Proanthocyanidins-also called "OPCs" for oligomeric proanthocyanidins and "PCOs" for procyanicolic oligomers are a class of nutrients belonging to the bioflavonoid family.
Some researchers also call these molecules "pycnogenol."
The main functions of proanthocyanidins are antioxidant activity, stabilization of collagen, and maintenance of elastin-two critical proteins in connective tissue, blood vessels and muscle. | | | |
